MEET ERIN Hi! My web designer has asked me to fill out a form for her, and I like to be cooperative whenever possible, so at the risk of sounding like I'm looking for computer dates, here goes nothing! Name:  Erin Ann Gilbert Marital Status:  Never married...and happy that way. Occupation:  Interior Designer. Education:  Bachelors from Parsons School of Design in NYC. Height:  5'9" Age:  28 Eyes:  Yes. They're both dark brown...chocolate, to be precise. Hair:  Wavy and auburn. It's currently shoulder-length. Favorite Movie:  "When Harry Met Sally." Favorite TV Show:  "Trading Spaces," depending on that week's designer (and, no, I won't name names!). I also loved "Friends" and still watch the reruns on occasion. Favorite Food:  Garlic Butter Prawns. Pet Peeve:  Getting stuck on a date with a braggart...the ultimate bore! On the job, it's when clients won't let me get into their heads to discover what it is that they want from their room transformation... such as when they get rid of every furnishing and ask me to buy all new from scratch with no guidelines whatsoever. While I can do that, I inwardly scream: Why do you want to turn your home into a posh hotel room?! We're all worthy of celebrating our own uniqueness on this planet, and what better way to express ourselves and who we are than within our homes! Role Model:  My mother. She had a degenerative lung condition, yet she never complained. She believed in making the most out of each and every day and was always patient and kind, even when she was in physical pain. Hobbies:  Sewing, reading, looking at homes (I love going to Open Houses). Favorite Sport:  In terms of participation, it's tennis. Watching the designers on HGTV is a spectator sport for me.
